Boston Analytical Increases Capacity with Dedicated Analytical Method Development Space

Salem, NH (September 15, 2017) – Boston Analytical, the Life Sciences Division of Alpha Analytical, is building out its laboratory in order to further improve its offerings of the Analytical Development function. Providing the latest technology, new equipment, added benches and dedicated space will enhance the Analytical Development group’s method development work.

"Method development projects are unpredictable and the next piece of work often depends on the results of the last experiment," explained Mike Molloy, Technical Director. "That's why we are expanding our analytical development capacity with space and instruments that are specifically devoted to those projects so we can continue to efficiently meet our clients’ growing needs in this area."

Pharmaceutical companies involved in drug development face the task of designing analytical methods that can be used to test the purity, potency and safety of their product. This complex and intricate process requires experience in the steps needed to build analytical tests using a variety of instruments and techniques.
